Answer: FUE could be considered a “re-birth” of the original hair harvesting technique described decades ago, but now with use of more refined instrumentation. Despite much debate regarding the pros and cons, FUE has not been shown to be superior to the strip harvest technique. Both are valid techniques that can provide good results in the hands of a capable surgeon experienced in the given technique.
