The use of computer imaging depends on the surgeon’s preference. Some surgeons prefer to illustrate the changes that can be made by drawing them. Others prefer to use printed photographs. Computer imaging is a tool which can be used to manipulate or “morph” a photograph to attempt to show what can be anticipated after surgery. Remember that this image is a 2D image and that results can vary.
